The surface is finished with an iridescence which gives a slightly metallic sheen. The metal base is carefully welded with attention given to small details like the angled edge of the 3 feet. The metal is powder coated black. The glass is wired with a standard size porcelain socket and fits comfortably into the metal base. The cord is wired with an in line dimmer. All parts comply
