Fired Copper Stone Guardian: Medium Plus A165213 A gold-hued inset adds aThis wall piece made of 95% hand cast abac paper When it has dried an is gessoed the artist applies a cement mixture which, when dried quickly, will create a beautifully cracked surface. Then the artist covers the surface with encaustic wax, (bees wax and dry pigment ). This darkens the cracks and makes a smooth blended surface. The figure is cut from cedar wood and wrapped with patina and fired coppers. It is then attached to a sand textured silver
