Lattu Shirt- Women Shirt moments of presenceAn ode to the rhythmic motion of a spinning top, this handcrafted shirt captures the spiral lines of lattu. The appliqu forms echo the circular movement of a lattu, grounded yet constantly in motion while kantha traces the threads on lattu with cord sprialled around it. Composed through layered appliqu and detailed Kantha embroidery, the surface carries a sense of repetition and flow, where each stitch builds upon the next, much like the spin itself.
