Small Teardrop Color:Teal Slender steel bars bring linearTo create this shimmering wood sculpture, the artist assembles maple blocks into a rough shape, then turns it on a lathe to form an elegant silhouette. The surface is dyed, then finished with a high gloss lacquer for a richness of color rarely seen in wood. The artist's signature use of negative space adds further interest and depth to the piece.
