Each is cut and shaped using a bandsaw and sander and painted with latex enamel before being attached to a rolling platform

Hand-carved jet is capped with a sterling silver top to create these earrings

Rigid sterling silver ear wires with rubber stoppers (not shown)

Some final paintings resolve quickly with three of four layers of paint
