Issued 1914 1918; a bronze cross pattee; the obverse circumscribed Zur See Unbesiegt Im Felde (Undefeated in the See) with an anchor in the centre, surrounded by an oak wreath and crossed swords; the reverse bears the Prussian naval flag, circumscribed Marine Korps, and 1914 18; on a loop for suspension; measuring 44. 57 mm (w) x 40. 07 mm (h); weighing 23. 5 grams; in overall very fine condition.
