A Late Second Pattern (1934-1945) Waffen-Ss Visor Skull Archive It was awarded to individualsThis is a late war second pattern (1934 1945) Waffen SS (Schutzstaffel) visor cap; in silvered cupal, but with all of the silvering worn off; two replacement prongs on the reverse (three prongs previously attached to the outside of the skull; measuring 30. 48 mm x 29. 26 mm; notably, the die used to stamp out the eyes and nose made contact with the skull off place (slightly too low) furthermore, the outlines of the cracks on the forehead are shallow;
