Serbia, Kingdom. An Order of the White Eagle, Knight, c. 1918 Archive 3 January 1945: EInstituted in 1883. Type II (1903 1941 Issue). In silver, double headed eagle in white enamel, obverse centre shows an oval shield with a white cross on a red ground, reverse center shows inscription 1882, inclusive of its sword and crown suspension 88. 5 mm (h) x 40 mm (w), correct replacement ribbon, evidence of chipping on blue enamel, very fine condition. Footnote: The Order was instituted 23 January 1883 by King Milan I of Serbia. It was awarded
