The Chteau Dudon is situated on the loamy sandy terroir of the Haut Barsac, close to well known Sauternes sizes such as Chteau Coutet and Climens. Dudon is currently run by Evelyne Allien and has been owned by her direct ancestors since 1868. Since there have never been male descendants in the family, the fortunes of Chteau Dudon have been led by five women in a row. This is a powerful Sauternes with aromas of ripe pineapple, honeydew
