Poli Taiada is a liqueur with an old Venetian tradition. The name derives from "taire", which in the Venetian language means both "to cut" and "to put together in equal parts". In fact, Taiada is obtained by "blending" grappa and pure alcohol in which cinchona (Cinchona calisaya), a plant native to the Andes from which quinine is extracted, is preserved.
