Germany, Third Reich. A German Driver’s Badge, Iii Class In Bronze, By L. Christian Lauer Newly Listed measuring 60 mm (w) x(Deutsches Fahrer Abzeichen, III. Klasse in Bronze). Instituted 16 May 1930. (1930 1945 issue). Constructed of bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a stylized belt and buckle around a raised letter R, with a central chariot and driver on a hollow background, the reverse with a barrel hinge and flattened vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked L. CHRISTIAN LAUER, NRNBERG,
