Germany, Freikorps. A Silesian Eagle, I Class Republic of 5 cm (w) x 34(Schlesischer Adler I. Klasse). Constructed of tombak, the obverse consisting of a Silesian style German national eagle, clutching a silvered banner in its talons bearing a raised inscription of FR SCHLESIEN (FOR SILESIA), overlaid across it chest by a silvered Brustmond, the reverse with four visible rivets securing the obverse features in position, with a wide crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 32. 50
