What makes Sottosopra so special is that it's a cherry wine. Pairing wine with sour cherries is a traditional Abruzzo specialty, and several versions exist. While some producers choose to add cherry liqueur to their wine, Collefrisio's is made from 100% Montepulciano (the blue grape of Abruzzo), to which a little sour cherry syrup is then
