which retains a functional catch to lock onto the blade’s clip

of various sizes and with many featuring handwritten reverse inscriptions

Italy, Kingdom. An Order of St. Maurice and St. Lazarus, Officer’s Cross Newly Listed also including a 1938 Anschluss(Ordine dei Santi Maurizio e Lazzaro). Instituted September 16th, 1572. In silver gilt, a white enameled Shamrock Cross with green enameled fans in the quadrants between the arms of the cross, suspended of a finely detailed hollow crown, pierced ball suspension with a bright green ribbon sewn closed around the suspension, measures 36. 7 mm (w) x 56. 3 mm (h), weighs 12. 0 grams, minor enamel wear, gilt wear, very fine.
