the Alto Jabonero is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo from the Sierras de Malaga mountains on Spain's south coast
and kiss melon that finishes with a touch of salty minerality
and a few peels of orange
with geometric patterns derived from Islamic motifs introduced during Spain’s 800 year Al-Andalus period
Podere Cellario Langhe Bianco Acacia 2024 Region:Piedmont (LPB) (6/2029)The Cellario Acacia Bianco was aged in Acacia barrels, as the name implies, but thats not the coolest thing about it. Its a blend of Timorasso (80%) and Rosesse Bianco (20%). The first is a grape that came very close to extinction before it was rescued by the Paolo Massa and a couple other dedicated growers. The second is a grape that came so close to extinction that for several generations it was thought to have gotten all the way to extinction.
