FOX., with PERISAN GULF 1909 1914 clasp, notable edge bruises and contact marks, wear and discoloration to the ribbon, near very fine. Footnote: Harry J. Taylor also served in the First World War. During the years before World War I, HMS Fox operated extensively on the East Indies and Persian Gulf stations. The ship carried out anti smuggling patrols, protected British commercial
