5 Star Saddle Shim Pad Thickness:3/4in Heel: 1 1/8" (Roper)Sometimes because of saddle fit or a horses confirmation, saddle shims are needed. 5 Star saddle shims are available in 1 4 (Gray), 1 2 (Natural), and 3 4 (Black) thickness and are made with Velcro on the side that faces the saddle pad to help keep them in place. 5 Star shims can be placed where your horse needs them. Use 1 or 2 sets of shims to accommodate your needs. Use different thicknesses as your horse changes throughout the year.
