A 1914 Iron Cross II Class Award Document to Feldwebel-Leutnant Hans Schmelzpfenning of the Landsturm Infantry Battalion
On the reverse are two vertical loops secured via a metal rivet to allow attachment to a service pelt
each retaining both reverse attachment prongs and bearing illegible marks
which is now housed at the National Army Museum at Chelsea
