Instituted in 1942. 4 Clasps BASARABIA, NISTRU, MAREA NEAGRA, ODESA. In bronze, engraver marked "P. GRANT" on the obverse, measuring 32 mm in diameter, greening on the reverse, scattered gilt wear on the medal and clasps, original ribbon with hook and eye, very fine.
