Amyl & The Sniffers "Comfort To Me" post punk Purple Rain is the sixth
Description
Purple Rain is the sixth studio album by Prince
the optimistic nihilism and glittering darkness of the 1980s that we who were there felt even if we couldn't communicate it ourselves
Like any good Cretin’s soundtrack
driving bass grooves
It is also significant in that it is the only Cramps album to feature vocals by guitarist Poison Ivy
Amyl & The Sniffers "Comfort To Me" post punk Purple Rain is the sixth"I've got plenty of energy, it's my currency" sings Amy Taylor on the opening track of Comfort To Me, the latest from Amyl and The Sniffers. After their self titled 2019 debut, the band conquered the world one club and festival at a time. Comfort To Me fully captures the chaotic energy of their unrelenting, jaw dropping live show which The Guardian declared the "most exhilarating rock n' roll show I've seen in years."
