Peruvian artisan Gliseria Soto crafts the mirror by cutting the base from cedar wood, affixing the mirror pieces, then bronzing the moon and its rays, leaving a section of the moon's crescent where the lovely cedar wood shows through. To add depth and highlights, the artisan strategically applies walnut oil to bring out a change in color to the wood and bronze. A tin
