Germany, Heer. A Krim Shield United Republic of with most of it’s silver(Krimschild). Constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of a shield bearing a raised map of Crimea and southern Ukraine, topped by a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, flanked by dates 1941 1942, affixed with all four reverse attachment prongs to a magnetic metal backplate covered with a layer of black leatherette paper and with a field grey wool liner indicating Heer issue, unmarked, the shield measuring 51. 60
