Hahndorf Hill Zsa Zsa Zweigelt 2021 saint-damien Simultaneously mouthwatering andrefreshingZweigelt is the most planted dark skinned variety in Austria, and is actually the result of a cross between Blaufrankisch and Saint Sankt Laurent in 1922. Hahndorf Hill was the first winery in Australia to plant it, and is still one of only a handful of wineries growing it here. This was my first Aussie Zweigelt and it was a lovely experience. Theres a heady mix of red and black fruits (raspberry, strawberry, blackberry) with a significant spice kick
