Instituted 25 Oktober 1869 by Prince Leopold III of Lippe Detmold and Prince Adolf Georg I Schaumburg Lippe. (1890 1918 issue). Constructed of silver with Gold and multi coloured enamels, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebble arms, the obverse bearing a central eight pointed radiant starburst, overlaid by a Gold medallion featuring a central white enameled disc overlaid by a Lippe
