Constructed of bronze, the obverse featuring a National Eagle of the Spanish Army with a Falange insignia, overlaid by an Iron Cross in black enamels displaying a silvered swastika, surrounded by a laurel wreath topped by a royal crown, the reverse featuring a depiction of the Novgorod Kremlin surrounded by a chain wreath, with a bottom inscription of RUSIA 1941, unmarked,
