First released as a single vineyard bottling in 1978, Costa Russi originates from a south facing hillside whose name combines costa (sun exposed slope) and Russi, the nickname of the vineyard's former owner. Since 2013, the wine has been produced entirely from Nebbiolo and classified once again as Barbaresco DOCG, highlighting
