Some Young Punks (SYP) 'Naked' Shiraz Mataro piedmont A combination of rich red85% Shiraz 15% Mataro. Naked's Shiraz component comes from a black and red clay McLaren Vale vineyard with a high proportion of older, gnarled vines. The yields are kept low and the quality high. The Mataro comes from a light, free draining site in the lower reaches of the Vale (in the McLaren Flat area), where the vine age is 10 30 years.
