Germany, Heer. A Mint Turkestan Legion Volunteer’s Sleeve Shield, First Pattern Republic of Canadian Garrison Artillery at Witley(Heer rmelschild fr Freiwillige Turkistan 1. Form). Constructed of field grey rayon, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered blue and red shield defaced by a Turkic bow, topped by an inscription of TURKISTAN, unmarked, measuring 70 mm (w) x 90 mm (h), in unissued and extremely fine condition.
