Prussia, Kingdom. A Warrior Merit Medal, C.1900 Auction (NSKOV Reichsarbeitstagung Northeim)(Krieger Verdienstmedaille). Instituted 1835 by King Friedrich Wilhelm III. (1873 1918 issue). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a central inscription of KRIEGER VERDIENST (WARRIOR MERIT), the reverse with a central monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm I, unmarked, measuring 25. 06 grams (inclusive of ribbon), weighing 9. 1 grams, in better than very fine condition.
