In the band's initial run, they released two albums before breaking up in 1985 when singer King Diamond left the band and started his own solo project. They've gotten back together a few times since then, but the first time the band reunited was in 1993. They released the album In The Shadows and began touring again. The band continued on and off for the next two decades until
