Constructed of gilded and pebbled aluminum, the obverse bearing a central raised mobile swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of GOTT MIT UNS (GOD WITH US) and an oak leaf wreath, the reverse with a loop and attachment claws emanating from a functional roller, the latter retaining an original brown leather strap, stamped with a makers mark of F. W. ASSMANN & SHNE, LDENSCHEID, above a manufacture
