A Model of S-Class Submarine HMS Safari, c.1944 visually-hidden Item: Letters from Knight’s CrossConstructed of glossy black and grey painted wood, consisting of a double sided and hand carved scale depiction of Royal Navy (RN) S Class submarine HMS Safari, complete with conning tower and deck gun, affixed to a lacquered wooden base, unmarked, measuring 9 cm (w) x 41 cm (w) x 7. 5 cm (h), demonstrating some scratching to the base, in near extremely fine condition. Footnote: Commissioned in 1942, HMS Safari was part of the third run of S Class
