Latvia, Republic. A Cross of Recognition, IV Class Republic of 17 and weighing 20(Atzinbas krusts). Instituted in 1938. Three piece construction, in bronze gilt with red, dark blue, light blue, green and white enamels, measuring 36 mm (w) x 56. 5 mm (h) inclusive of its cluster of eight rings suspension, intact enamels, scattered gilt wear, original ribbon with safety pin attachment, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Cross of Recognition was instituted on August 12, 1938 and is based on an award instituted on May 13, 1710 in the
