Germany, Wehrmacht. A Rare Tank Destruction Badge, Gold Grade United Republic of 1920 to April 30(Sonderabzeichen fr das Niederkmpfen von Panzerkampfwagen durch Einzelkmpfer in Gold). Instituted 18 December 1943. (1943 1945 issue). Constructed of a grey wool core, the exterior with a gold bullion wire tresse trimmed with black threaded piping, bearing a magnetic metal Panzer IV, unmarked, measuring 87 mm (w) x 30 mm (h), a rare example in near extremely fine condition.
