Chateau Bouscasse Madiran Argile Rouge 2016 ploussard iron streaked clay and rhubarbAn equal parts blend, 33% each of Tannat, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc, with 1% Fer Servadou. This wine has a suave, elegant texture and old school earthy flavors that remind us of the best traditions of Madiran. Aged in barrel for two years one third of them new which was enough to soften the hard tannic edges these wines can show. The result is a smashing value for old school Bordeaux lovers.
