Hungary, Kingdom. An Order of Merit, I Class Grand Cross Set, c. 1935 Newly Listed From 1919 onwards all awards(Magyar rdemrend). Instituted in 1922. In silver gilt with red, white and green enamels, measuring 52. 1 mm (w) x 57. 4 mm (h inclusive of its laterally pierced ball suspension), weighs 39. 50 grams, indentation and chipping evident in the green enamels on the bottom tip of the arm at 9 o'clock on both sides, on a full length replacement sash incorporating a decorative moir pattern, better than very fine.
