Order Of The Legion Of Honour, C. 1860 GTRexclude hallmarked and maker marked -Grand Cross Star, Second Empire, Star made in Silver, handmade and hand chiseled, unmarked, 92 mm x 95 mm, crisp detail, nice patina, very fine. According to the previous owner, this item emerged from Mexico, however it is unknown if it is of Mexican or possible Middle Eastern origin, of unofficial manufacture, made "in field". An unique handmade star.
