Constructed of silver, on a fixed loop and ring for suspension from its shortened period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte, the obverse with a central medallion featuring the leftward facing bust of Duke Ernst within an oak wreath tied together at the base, the reverse bearing the Saxe Ernestine coat of arms circumscribed with Fideliter Et
