Maison Ferrand began as the farm and vineyards of Pierre Ferrand whose family had harvested grapes for ten generations. In 1989 to earn some extra money, Alexander Gabriel set about to contract his business school education to help the struggling farm pull itself out. Pierre offered him a stake in the business and soon he bought out the entire operation. Since then he has not only
