Germany, Third Reich. A 1944 Tirol Small Calibre Shooting Badge By Carl Poellath Hold missing its prongs(Schtzenabzeichen). Constructed of zink, horizontal pinback, the obverse consisting of a red Tirol style eagle clutching a target overlaid by a swastika, flanked by a date of 1944, above an inscription of KK GEWEHR for KLEINKALIBER GEWEHR (SMALL CALIBRE RIFLE), the reverse maker marked CARL POELLATH, SCHROBENHAUSEN, measuring 40. 21 mm in diameter, in better than very fine condition.
