The grapes were carefully selected from 40 50 year old vines from the family winery in the famous Langhorne Creek river plain. Small open fermenters with maceration times of 8 12 days were used. The wine was then aged for 21 months in 100% French oak, with only the best barrels of the vintage selected for the final
