This is where the Sangiovese grape for Luce Brunello grows, a tribute to this wonderful wine that originated in Montalcino in the second half of the 19th century. In 1980, it was the first wine in Italy to receive the DOCG certification of controlled and guaranteed designation of origin; today, it is considered one of the most important premium wines made in Italy.
