Fermenta solo con mosto fiore e matura a lungo in barrique, prima di un ulteriore affinamento in bottiglia. Nel calice unisce prugna, ciliegia nera, mora e note di cacao, liquirizia e tabacco; in bocca pieno ma armonioso, con tannini setosi, beva verticale e un finale lungo e vibrante.
