Earth summer Positioned between a postcard andEarth was inspired by a visit to Mexico, where I was captivated by their beautiful handmade ceramics and native plants. The contrast of lush green plants against warm pottery was sublime. This original oil painting is a contemporary piece of art, mixing realism and abstract styles. The textured Mexican pot is accentuated by expressive brush marks. I've just contrasting vibrant colour to make the artwork uplifting and joyful. Size painting: 61cm x 61cm
