(East Indies - Europe) Route Kaart Bronx just a year after their(East Indies Europe) Route Kaart, Nederland Line Royal Dutch, 1948Sailing from "Soerabaya" (Surabaya) in East Java, all the way back to the Netherlands, this map includes a manuscript sailing route. Leaving on Sept 23 of 1948, past Sumatra, losing a man overboard near Ceylon ("verdronken" drowned), up through the Suez, through the Mediterranean, and back up to Amsterdam. Condition is very good. Image size is approximately 17. 5 x 28 (inches)
