Antique Japanese Edo Era c1850's Imari Plate Flowers & Courtiers 8.5" Nesting Bowls With exception of minor signsThis is an antique Japanese Edo Era (c. 1840) Imari ceramic shallow bowl all hand painted in gold, blue, red, yellow and green with design of flowers and Heian era court nobles. The bowl is made with high fired ceramics for lasting durability. This plate measures 8. 5" in diameter by 1. 5" tall (21. 5 x 4 cm). Having been in storage for most of the past century this plate remains in very fine condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines.
