Antique Japanese Meiji Era 1800's Imari Ceramic Bowl Phoenix & Maple 9.5" Koro Carved in the shape ofThis is an antique Japanese Meiji Era (c. 1880) Imari ceramic bowl. It is all hand painted with a design that features the mythical Phoenix. maple leaves, a boat on the water and other details. The bowl is made with high fired ceramics for lasting durability. Diameter = 9 1 2" (28cm) Height = 3 1 4" (10cm) Weight = 3lbs 4oz Having been in storage for most of the past century this bowl remains in very fine condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines.
