Suitable more for the summer season, its thin walls allow the tea to cool faster during the hot summer months. It it is made of a popular red clay usually used in Chinese tea vessels to add to the over all flavor to the tea. This chawan measures 4. 5" wide at its widest by 3. 25" tall. Having been in storage for 70 years it remains in fine condition.
