Antique Japanese Early 1900'S Satsuma Plate Ceramic Hand Painted Kiku 4.75" Metalwork This type of natural lacquerThis is an antique Japanese early 1900's signed Satsuma ceramic plate hand painted in traditional designs of chrysanthemums and peonies. The plate is a high fired ceramic for lasting durability. The underside shows the crackle glaze nicely. Thisplate measures 4 3 4" in diameter by almost 3 4" tall (12 x 2 cm). This plate remains in good condition but it must be noted that this is a small chip on the edge, please see photos.
