Antique Japanese Late Edo Era Ceramic Tokkuri Sake Bottle 9” Kimono She wears a wide brimmedThis is an antique Japanese sake jug from the late Edo Period (c. 1850). This one is 9" tall and glazed on one side with flowers and the other side with dragonflies. Glazed with cobalt gosu blue. It is all hand made and fired at high temperatures for lasting durability. It remains in good condition It is high fire glazed both inside and out. Great as a stand alone piece of art with calligraphy.
